The spreadsheet to select your tags if you were on the winnning team or earned a tag by posting two works during the dragon phase or anon period is now available, you can find it here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IAc-Rjx6PxRID6kJhITK8E_I2qipCQWOdyF03bPWRLI/edit#gid=0
I'm sorry about the delay.
I would also like to announce the upcoming test rounds:
Players vs Mod
I will be testing out three modes of gameplay for the Battleship Exchange. It's probably helpful to consider it three rounds of flash fests happening close together. There’s no guarantee everyone will receive a gift, but I do plan to maintain a giftless list to hopefully help spread things around.
Everyone will be on one team, and you can sign up or add requests at any point during or between rounds. It’s totally fine to just participate in one round, or only catch the end of a round. I’m just trying to see how people work together and figure out any loopholes before the next full game in the summer.
The goal of the team is to work together and come up with strategies to defeat the board. Each round will end after seven days, whether you have defeated the board or not. If you actually defeat the board, I’ll toss in a little bonus event to fill out the rest of the time in the round.
The play mode that works best will be scaled up into the next full round of the game. For example, if round one is two 6x6 boards with a mini boss in between and a boss with 40k health at the end and that round is the round that feels like it went the best, the main game could be five 10x10 boards with a mini boss in between each and a final boss with 150k health.
There will be a tag list to choose from when signing up, and those tags may appear in any or all of the rounds.
Here’s the schedule:
Round One: January 29–February 4
Round Two: February 18–24
Round Three: March 3–9
I left extra space between rounds one and two to try to minimize the impact on Chocolate Box while still fitting everything in between my other exchanges. I’ll open sign-ups and nominations in mid to late January.
