Dungeon, Boss 1
22/7/23 23:48Every trap has been disarmed, and your group can safely escape the room! You gather all your loot, throw the door open wide... and find the hallway blocked by a rat king, which you know is a king because it's dripping with jeweled necklaces and each of its six heads is wearing a golden crown. Behind it is a crowd of smaller rats. Unlike the king, they look thin and hungry, with patchy fur.
Your team leader ventures to say, "Please, can you get out of our way? We'd really like to leave."
The rat king's six heads all laugh. "We don't think so," they say in chorus. "You have treasure, and I wish to own all the treasure in this castle. Give it to me."
Some of the other rats mutter discontentedly, but they're shushed by the rat king's closest followers. When you hesitate to hand over your loot, the king gnashes its teeth menacingly. You hastily retreat to the treasure room to discuss a plan.
"Monarchy is ridiculous," one adventurer says, disgusted. "Why should that king get to have all the treasure?"
"Yeah," another says. "Hey, what if we give it to the other rats instead, and disrupt the rat economy?"
It's a wacky idea, but it just might work. You decide that the strongest among you will build more desirable items, while the swiftest will dodge past the king to distribute loot among the populace. United and determined, you make your stand.
As you advance, a crate crashes through a hole in the ceiling. It breaks open to scatter a cache of coins. "We heard you needed help," someone calls through the hole. "Catch!"

The boss starts with 125,000 hit points. Your found loot of 42,700 reduces that to 82,300. For the rest, post works to the Team Dungeon collection.

Anyone may contribute to a team's collection during that team's boss battles, whether they're on the team or not. Treasure hunters, if you want to help a team, this is your moment. Team members, bribery or repayment of any kind is not permitted, but feel free to encourage your friends to join the fun out of the goodness of their hearts and the joy of making treats.
Good luck!
